Canto Partner Meeting April 2010 - Berlin

Heymann Consulting receives the 'Longest Canto Partner Award - WorldWide' at the worldwide Canto Partner Meeting in Berlin. This meeting has been the starting event to Canto's 20 year Company Celebrations.

The main ceremony was held at the Museum of Natural History of Berlin. There is no better place to hand over the price for the 'Cumulus Dinosaur'. Between the world's biggest Dinosaur skeleton of a Brachiosaurus and the world famous Archaeopteryx, Canto's Partner Manager Europe Kay Gröger presented the price to Lutz Heymann.

Since March 1995, Lutz Heymann works for or with Canto. Since September 1997, Heymann Consulting offers Software, Solutions and Services for Canto Cumulus.

A lot of Canto Cumulus news were presented during the two day event, but there was also a flashback into the history of Cumulus: does anybody remember?

- Cumulus under Mac OS as a single user version, lateron Network with Program-Linking switched on

- a Version coming with a Master Diskette containing the serial to unlock the software

- Vento as a System Extension for OS 8/9 as a folder watcher

- The first version of Cumulus coming out on Windows in version 4

- Unix appears, the first version on Apple's Shiner - the 'Minibar' (with AIX)
